Recently, since my last post a lot has happened, and I'm glad to say they were all happy things. This is the first ever summer vacation that I've felt like I'm being active and spending time with friends and family or exploring places and new things. Its my last long vacation before I start work and I really want to make the best of it. Its quite draining to have your life relatively jammed packed, (its not quite as busy as other people), but nonetheless its considered a lot for someone like me who is used to a slower pace. I've just unloaded my camera for my upcoming (lol tomorrow's) Japan trip and here are some photos.

日本は私の小さいから、一番行きたいの国です。すぐこの夢を現実する~!

Japan has been my number 1 destination I had want to visit since many years ago when I started being interested in its culture (lol less sophisticated-ly, all started from anime =_=) . And now I'm finally taking my maiden trip to the place. I must admit, I'm a little more wary travelling to Japan now at this age (compared to if I had done so maybe half a decade ago) I've read many travel posts and Japan-related articles until now, and its definitely one of the most spoken/written about travel destination in the world, and all mostly postive. It does take away some of the excitement since you've already read hundreds of accounts and things haven't really changed much since then. Its like watching a movie after reading many many reviews about it. So, this time, I'm hoping I'll be able to discover my own view and experiences in spite of all the prior expectations I may have.

Here's to the next 2 weeks~!

P.s. I should really start packing!

4th year's leaver's dinner

Had dinner at Royal Dragon Chinese restaurant in London's Chinatown yesterday with fellow Chinese course mates in my University's Chinese Society. It was the last event of the year, the leavers dinner which basically is a farewell for the year fours who are graduating this year aka. me. This year's committee was really good and the event was a nice gathering pre-exams. It's also another reminder that we will all part ways soon after. Since most of us are international students, for the past few years we've been somewhat like a mini family? Though over time everyone gets more busy with their own lives and activities and we see less of each other. I guess this is a natural transition in society where people gather and separate  But the memories remain and that's all it matters.

昨日の晩はチャイニーズ社会の最後の晩御飯イベントです。

On this night in the candlelight, I wonder what everyone's wishing for?

Last night of Easter break at home

In 8 hours i'll be on the plane out of lovely Singapore back to London again. Spend my last day with the parents in the day and best friends on a 90min cruise at Boat Asia 2013 around Sentosa and the coast of Singapore in the evening. It was really a wonderful time and I'm really sad to leave. But knowing this is the last time I'm flying back for studies and 2, 3 months will past really soon, I guess this parting is very temporary.

Besties of 10 years

Looking out to the sea at night away from the hustle and bustle of the main island easily puts one into a reflective mood. On this night I wish for everyone in Singapore that I care for the best of health and luck for whatever they have to face in this few months until I come back and to spend my time with them again.

Wait for me!
