10 days to the first final exam

I've taken to visiting tumblr again after a long hiatus almost daily to fill my mind of pretty things such as the picture above (Not claiming credit!). I'm still taking things pretty easy everyday to be honest, which I'll probably regret very soon...:( Doing therapeutic frameworks just seem to be such slow, slow progress compared to reading lectures. :((

Depressing, looming things aside, I just booked tickets to Tokyo, Japan for 2 weeks in July with 2 pals woohoo! Time is going to fly really soon, during this exam period, and also the period after till September when I begin work. I shall be very sad bidding many things farewell.

Anyway until the 13th of June, I shall give it my best. 今から六月十三日まで、頑張ります！

Post-exam escape

Happy February finally! Finished my last paper today and is looking forward to less vivid dreams and uninterrupted sleep (from an over-stressed and stimulated brain). Well perhaps for just one night? In about 10 hours I should be on the train out of London on a post-exam trip to stretch those sedentary legs! In anticipation of the destination, I watched this tonight (been awhile since I saw any):

Yup! Its "In Bruges", the dark comedy that arguably contributed to the modest fame of the filming location. It started out suspiciously reeking of tourism promotion (lol) and a slow pace, but then progressed a bit quicker and ended with a bang. It felt somehow atypical of usual films imo, slightly quirky in a simple way.

Shall be heading for a short 3 days trip to Brussels and Bruges. Its a first of a kind trip in some way, hoping everything goes well! And please please don't rain the whole day!

Everyone(?) is excited for snow...

...well at least for the tropical-countrybumpkin residing in London, which only sees this weather phenomenon gracing its skies a few privileged days of the year! Finally some proper, ongoing, ground-accumulating snow!
